The simple definition for design is a plan or drawing produced to show the look and function or workings of a building, garment, or other object before it is made.

Elm Gray’s design process varies, it is dependent on the property, space, lead time or budget. Usually our designs start life as a mood board giving an idea of the look and feel of the space showing some selections of flooring, paints, lighting, furniture and styling. Then we can move to spatial analysis through 3D modelling with the final step usually being a full CGI (computer generated image) of the property or space.
